The image of the south-western part of Cherdynsky District was received from SPOT 6 satellite on October 29, 2017.

Bolshoy Kumikush Lake is located between the rivers Kama and Timshor, in the center of the Wild Swamp. This is the second largest lake in the Perm region after the Chusovoye Lake. Bolshoy Kumikush extends approximately 7 km in length and 5 km in width, the maximum depth is 6 m.

At 700 m to the southeast there is the lake Chelvinskoe, in the form resembling the figure "eight". 5 km to the east of Lake Bolshoy Kumikush there is Lake Novozhilovo. The lakes are rich in fish, cranberries and blueberries grow on the marshy banks.
